Hi, I just recently came from Pirox from using that for about a year. Never had any form of suspension.
Last night I logged onto my account at 6am. Started my bot to farm honor. I checked back at my computer at about 1:30pm the same day and I was logged out. I logged back in and it said I had been suspended and to check my email. The email said I am suspended for 3 hours and the email says Type of Violation: PvP Arena/Battlegrounds and the honor system. Only used the bot 3 different times not on very long intervals and I get suspended... Refund? this does not seem very reliable or safe to me.

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? HB at the time of suspension

2)If so, when was the last time?: Less than 1 hour.

3)What profile were you using?: BG-Bot

4)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Disc CC V1.0

Priest

5)What plugins are you using?:
FlagCapture, TrinketRacial, MrHonorCap, Squire refreshment detector (sp?),

6)How many hours per day did you bot for?: 1-8

6.5)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot?

Every4-8hours but have not used bot enough to really get a set pattern in. On pirox I did not ever check it.

7)How many auctions per day did you have?:

0

8)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? No

9)Was your account involved in gold selling? no.

10)EU or US realm? US

So now I am sure blizzard will be watching my account so no more botting. Even if they were not going to watch my account I do not believe HonorBuddy to be safe.

the thing with bans are that it can be due to multiple factors, all I can read from what you have setup is: lack in setting up a proper CC that does good in pvp(some don't cut it) for pirox this was bluntly just macro-ing.
HB is not detected so won't be that. unless the forums will be flooded in 10 min by 1000's of users.

so my advice is take your time to set hb up, the less you set it up the more it shall be your own downfall. Take time and you will achieve greater goals with it.

my 2 cents

I believe you either just had a bad experience or had something setup wrong. I routinely run my bot doing bg beta for 10 -12 hrs at a time with no problem. The fact that you got a 3 hour ban is more than likely from player reports. Don't run the same BG for 10 hrs, set it to random. Make sure you are running a good CC properly configured, as well as any plugins that might benefit ur class in pvp.

This while you answer question 6.5 with: On pirox I did not ever check it.
So you did use other bots on this account. It really doesn't have to be HB related in this case imho.

^this, listen to this wise man!

Yah but how can you blame Pirox when I was using it for about a year. then take a break for about a week then switch to HonorBuddy.
Yes I did setup my bot, yes it was on random BG, yes I was using squire plugin for the /follow to follow close targets instead of running around like a robot. Yes I did setup my priest character in the CC class.
I did not just download and run...

There you go then. Squire isnt supported for random BGs. And the reason for it, is on some bgs it will follow 1 person (or worse, 1 bot) and stick out like a sore thumb. Squire is supported for only 3 bgs for a reason.

They generally don't ban after a day unless you or the bot is doing something stupid that is not supposed to be doing.
As kyvari said, Squire is not for all BG's made suitable (so there could be 1 part of the bot doing something it's not supposed to do).
Further tbh I don't know, or used is a better word here, any of the other plugins you used.
So I can't tell you what they do behind the scenes.

They tracked you for some time already I think.
Pirox goes down, you look for something else, and after a week you start again with HB (and probably in the same schedule as you did with Pirox).
They detected a change in your long pattern of similarity (while using Pirox, and then the week of sudden nothing) and they caught on to you when the same behaviour started again.
If this theory of mine will fly we'll know in the coming time.

I'm sorry for your loss, but botting for 1 day and 3 hours (or 11 hours in total as you said you were looking into your bot every 4 hours or so) doesnt get you banned unless see first line.
I've been botting with several payed and free bots for quite alot of years now (from Glider (Elite) + Ppather up) and never even received a warning of sorts.
I have sometimes 500+ auctions on the AH, sell and buy alot of stuff, craft shitloads and prospect, disenchant, mill etc from at least 4 botting characters (on 2 accounts, Mine and my wife's).
I use alot of plugins from here, few I made myself or maintain here after being abandoned by their creators (and are mostly public available here), few from others whenever the need arises for something special that I CBA to do or write myself.
I do mostly however run my own profiles (I still take the time to make as flawless as possible farm and grindprofiles because it's unique that way).
I run BG's with the bot for gear as I CBA to do it myself (and generally only on good CtA weekends with BG's I can 'trust').
I run RBG's with Lazyraider, same goes for heroics and currently even the raidfinder.

Ok so should I not bot again because I have received a suspension or should I give it time? I used squire because on the thread ppl were praising it saying they were the best healer in the bg.

Disc CC V1.0 is a CC pretty much in a beta status right now... It could had caused pathing issues.. who knows... we wpuld love to see your logs for the last session you had.

put it up as an attachment and if it exceeds the attachment size limit just zip it than post it

tha attachment function is under advanced settings

the 3 hour ban is nothing to worry about; basically you were reported afk too many times or actually reported via gm ticket

usually it's an issue with your cc

try a monitoring program for whispers, it catches most of the 'issues'

Well, at least don't use Squire where it's not supposed to work (read the release posts on each plugin for better understanding what it does. That is ofcourse if the Author cared for any explanation at all, but Bobby did for sure. He's very thourough in that respect).

Try some stuff without all the hassles of plugins for this and that. I would bot, but just watch what you're doing.
If you start with a new bot, don't set and forget it (at least I wouldn't do that, but then again I would hate to loose my main account).
Watch it if it does it all correctly (at least it gives you a chance to see what it could possible do wrong and pinpoint the issue to a plugin or for that matter a CC behaviour or HB itself).
When you feel confident it does allright then you can let it go for a bit (but use something that warns you on whispers with a audible sound).

I'd say give it some time but do the same things you where doing like pvp and such, else it becomes very obvious if the tracked you.

I bot 10-12 hours a day with bgbot on 6-7 different classes. The only risky BG is strand of the ancients. This is because the bot goes in very direct paths and sometimes you will see someone having the same exact movement as you.

Yeah *****s me up when my tiny gnome is hiding inside 3 other BG BOT users in Stands or Isle of Conquest.

First of all the bucketload of errors in the pvp profile (XML errors about the hotspots in some AV profile that you use).
If it's not the standard one you better report it in the release thread of that profile, otherwise notify the devs from HB in the appropriate thread.
I see it several times in your logfiles so something is obviously not correct there.

Second the use of Squire in unsupported BG's (SotA being the first), tosses around loads of errors too which is most likely the reason peeps reported you.
Code:
[7:03:20 AM:265] [Squire] battleground 'SotA' not supported, running profile only
And from that time it was mostly all errors till you got suspended at 12:56:31 (not in-game announcement)
