Suramar story - being developed

I have started trying to script Suramar by following the Zygor guide

This script will attempt to start at step 2 of the Zygor Suramar guide and start to unlock the portals.

Ive run it with both Alliance and Horde now and seems to work fine for both. (i may have missed some quests that have different IDs, if you find one say something :) )

This is my first attempt at a HB script so bare with me, any issues / suggestions would be appreciated.

Step 161: This is the first chase the cat across the bridge quest. I tried to script it with some success, though you may need to do this quest manually.

You will need to keep an eye on the underwater quests, HB has some troubles navigating underwater.

01/29/2017:
added up to steps 707
main story finished 11/11
Insurrection achievement 3/9
Building an army is now feature complete, will be optimizing it a little.
Ancient mana farming now many times faster for users past the winery part of the story.

01/17/2017:
added up to steps 588
now 10/11 progress
many more dailies
much better coverage on building an army

01/12/2017:
added steps up to 561.
the 540's will be rough, they are all group quests, you will have to watch the bot or die a bunch.
561+ requires you to do 2 mythic dungeons.
added some logic to stop the bot when you die in later parts.

01/10/2017:
all original scripts rolled into the main one
much improved suramar scenario script, not complete
added more reputation help with the world quests

01/02/2017:
MAJOR overhaul
reworked every step now loading faster and less spammy
no more multiple files for most steps
settings panel inspired by the 1-110 profile
can now auto use artifact power items
fix dozens of issues

11/07/2016:
added steps 469 - 533
these require you to be honored with nightfallen rep and ends with requiring 8000 honored nightfallen rep
working on a better gather script instead of splitting them out.
unlocks the Why Can't I Hold All This Mana? achievement if you have done the increse mana script in the gather folder
unlocks 8/11 story progress

seems to be skipping through fine if youve done everthing.

did you start it in the middle of some quest? which step is giving you issues?

Will This Project When Complete Be Able To Achieve Good Suramaritan - Achievement - World of Warcraft
 
Running it now... this is great so far however it had issues on the turtles and mana ragers I had to manually steer to kill them idk maybe hotspots should be updated
 
Testing, has been silky smooth so far on Alliance.

Edit:

1. Problem at Step 101, it was doing nothing after killing the turtles and finishing the quest. It wouldn't go to the questgiver to turn it in. Said "Waiting for Quest Giver to show cursor" or something like that.

ill take a fresh pass on the first script as soon as i finish up the bulk of steps :D

even with 7000/21000 rep you cannot done 10/11 until raid will come out
 
Great to see someone continuing the project. Please create a repo at Github, since it will make it easier for people to contribute and download the project (through a SVN).

Did you include Cicro's profile in yours?
 
Really Neat picked up right where it was supposed to, stopped at 101 tough searched for quest npc at wrong place.

So I used the Intro one, I have friendly rep with nightfallen, but it says 92 then just stands there waiting for a quest.
 
this does not include Circo's intro quests, i did borrow Zinner's mana gathering profile.

The first script in the batch is much rougher than the other i believe i will fix as soon as HB is up to date.

on another note does anyone have an example of checking the progress towards a single quest objective? either with quest xml or lua ?
 
Dont think it works for alliance. It runs through the waypoints but that's it. Also it doesnt seem to be working with 2+ mobs attack, on the third mob it still just stand still

If i remember correct:
IsQuestObjectiveComplete(x, yyyy)

You can find several examples in my profile, else Kicks/Echos profile have loads of inspiration. I cannot download the xml file, buy feel free to PM me with a code snippet and a question now and then if you need to be pointed in some direction.
 
Ah yes thank you, i have figured that one out . I was more wondering about can i get say 1/10 or 2/10 items collected for an objective?
