OK I know it's a crazy name, but I named it after me because I came up with it - at least I have not been able to find something like it on here so please excuse me if someone has actually already did this.
OK, so I have been boting for some time now, about a month and have not been banned *knock on wood*, but I have come to some realizations about people whom have and experienced some of the similar situations that everyone has come across, with that, I came up with an idea to further enhance our ability to stay away from the "blizzard pattern detector machine," that thwarts our efforts. I call it the "Kainenomizer" :
A "Random behavior variable" - this could even be a plug-in or written as an option to that everyones scripts. Hell, we could even have a central repository where these "actions" or events are made and it pulls an event from this pool.
What this means is that the toon will perform a "random action" like cooking or dancing or smelting or "something" from a large list of random actions - randomly. the purpose of this is to dissuade the Blizzard "pattern detectors" in discovering what we are doing.
What I think would happen would be the "pattern" would be broken after repeated events occur. For example:
"Joe bot" wants to farm "XXX" for 18 hours but he doesn't want to get caught because the route he is taking is pretty straight forward and obvious should he be seen; Enter the "Kainenomizer" - at random intervals of say 3 or 4 different time slots specified by the user (for example, 15 min, 36 min, 23 min, 10 min) of which would be chosen randomly by the plugin, the toon would perform a random action that is either pulled from the server or simply hard coded in the plugin.
I don't have enough knowledge to write a plugin like this, but I think this would actually really be helpful to people who do what we do.
