This is based on XP from EU servers.
xD This is getting quite serious lol. Once you learn every aspect of bottish behavior (by botting yourself) you learn to spot other bots in no time, and if you are watching your bots you will be amazed by how many people bot, sooo many of which with Destoryer's End titles and such (so main accounts). If the observer is not a botter himself it has to become HIGHLY obvious that its a bot for a casual player to notice it (I know many of my mates who play wow think that wow bots no longer exist after glider and don't ever notice any). So if we get to fix those Highly obvious bottish behaviours, chance of player reports will highly drop and the only other way of a ban would be HBs detection.
I know most of you know this but let me summarize
- Certain CCs like EzFrost, ShamWoW are so good at playing that theres no way someone can report you based on your bottish play style, so as long as you are using proper CC's you are safe in this area
- BG Buddy pathing has to be fixed asap, or some new logics added as one of the obvious ways to spot bots is when you see a chain of them, in some BGs you may be the only bot and pathing is perfectly alright while in others you may be one of the 11 and those chains are bloody hilarious. (randomization that was added earlier kinda breaks these chains yet at the begging of a bg all bots go the same way.
- Bots getting stuck on objects or terrain in battlegrounds (WSG thorns, Eots Rocks, AV spikes for exaplme) is one of the most dangerous things that can happen, as when anybody who sees that first thing they will think of is: bot
If there was a way you could give you bot 'do that' 'dont do that' customizations it would reduce the botting chains by far
for EXAMPLE: Eye of the storm
option 1, - Defend Draenei Ruins
option 2 - Defend Mage Tower
option 3 - Rush Attack Fel Reaver ruins
Option 4 - Only go for flags and cap them when at least 1 base is controlled by your faction
Option 5 - Only go for flags and cap them when at least 2 bases are controlled by your faction
option 6 - Never defend, only go for in conflict bases or stick to biggest player masses
Option 7 - Avoid center
option 8 - Avoid bridges
options 9 - protect/kill flag carriers priority
and based on which of these you tick in your settings your bot will randomize paths and behaviours
I would really love to hear some devs opinions on this as I have no idea how to program and dont know how difficult it would be to implement such options
Cheers !!!
