styx.helpers.uisettings threw an exception

Hi,

I am getting the following error:

Honorbuddy encountered a problem. We are sorry for the inconvenience
The type initializer for 'Styx.Helpers.UISettings' threw an exception.

I tried to search the forums a bit, all I found was to turn off any firewalls and run as administrator. All firewalls are disabled, and I am logged in and have eve right clicked and ran as administrator but same issue.

restart fixes it for me, im sure they know about it but its good to report.


I was actually working on my UI when it happened and thought it was me.

I am getting this as soon as I login to honorbuddy, this is my first time trying to use HB and it will not work

clear your settings folder and try again

Deleted my settings folder and tried again, still receiving the same error.

Got it working now, found another thread and read to try DX9, did that and its good, thanks for the assistance.

yes but it's still no work. I had install a new hb and it's no work also.
