Stuck "Checking for Buddy Store products..." I don't have any products in buddy store

I don't have any products in the buddy store but it still seems to be stuck. I've tried reinstalling... I saw somewhere that I should delete a cache file but i can't seem to find it.

This is what the screen tells me:

Honorbuddy v2.5.13198.772 started.
Logging in...

try flushing your dns

reset your host file back to default.

and try power cycling your home router.

I did both but it's still "Checking for Buddy Store Products." Unfortunately I use campus wifi so I don't know if power cycling would work.

The same text is showing:
