Stuck at "Logging In"

So, I've seen a few people having this problem, and I've followed the steps that others people have been prescribed (clear the buddy store cache, bnet cache, WoW cache, etc) and I'm still getting this error. I've tried clean install after clean install and still nothing. HB works fine on my laptop, but for some reason, it just all of a sudden stopped working on my desktop about a week ago.

First, let's make certain your Windows patch level is up-to-date, and let's reboot your machine.


If no joy, let's try a 'clean install' as described in this article. Please follow the steps carefully:

As stated in the article, it is important for the clean install that you:
  • Use a NEW directory in which to install Honorbuddy (e.g., C:/Honorbuddy/)
  • Do NOT copy anything from a previous Honorbuddy installation
  • Do NOT install any third-party products
  • Disable the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store
Please leave it in this configuration until we get your problem sorted.


If no joy, please show us a log from the clean install.

Let's check dependencies as identified in this article:

You might have to go so far as the "Repairing it Manually" section of the article.


If no joy, will have to leave this one for Tony. As, I'm out of ideas.
