i turned off any listed programs/all addons disabled still no good

I know you stated this in your first post, but let's make certain your dependencies are intact. Please carefully follow the steps for "Repairing it manually" in this article:

hi, thanks, i'll try that.
but i can't/don't want to download the "Buddy Dependency Wizard", kaspersky alerted me of a trojan infection. and Chrome won't let me download it with kaspersky off.

im going to try a reinstall with the installer rather than the zip d/l

thanks for your help everyone, i uninstalled .net c++ and HB

reinstalled C++ and .net and HB (using the installer not the .zip) and it is working now.
also installed HB using .zip and is does not work still, maybe there is a problem in the .zip that needs to be fixed?

anyway, thanks so much for your help so fast everyone im happy it is working now!

i have uninstalled numerous times and ran the buddy wizard im all outta ideas again
