Hi, new to DB and the forums (but not necessarily botting) and having trouble with my connection setup.
I'm running D3 on a minimized Win7 guest OS inside VMWare on a bridged connection. I setup a tunnel to an AWS server (micro EC2 instance) and use Widecap to route all connections through the tunnel (as per the note that the authentication uses UDP associate protocol). The connection times out at the Authentication step upon logging in (2nd step) and I am wondering what could be the issue. The prxy is setup to route all connections initiated by the D3 process through the tunnel. I do notice, however, that the blizzard-auto-updater doesn't seem to go through the prxy but I was under the impression that it runs independently, and more importantly prior-to, of the login service.
Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks.
PS. why is the word pr0xy censored on this board..?
