strange beeping sound from gatherbuddy

as title says, iv started to recive strange beeping sounds from gatherbuddy, i panic and shut everything off thinking this was some sort of "beeing followed or monitored" type feature, what the hell is it? i cant find anything in the logs related to it. what is it???.

usually its a PC sound like when you get stuck in water or something. My guess is its a noise from your PC.

Isnt it supposed to make a ping noise when there is rare spawn around?

Indeed, you can check / uncheck the option to detect rare mobs.

u have 93 posts and dont know about the beep?

the beep sound comes from rare npc's scan(you can find more info in your log)
on latest Gb version the tick box is invisible(fixed on next release) but the scan feature is enabled
