Strange banning behaviour

Not gonna spill all the details here, but something happened which I find pretty strange.

I've been running 1 B.net acc with 5 WoW accounts on it, and been farming firelands 24/7 with it for about 2 weeks now (before that I also ran that with 10 acc's but they got banned).

Yesterday evening, I created a new B.net on a new email account obviously. Added 5 WoW acc's to that b.net and created new characters. RaF'ed them together, obviously.
I traded 70k gold from my 'firelands botting team' to a char of the newly-created team, to buy heirlooms for the whole b.net account.
I used Questbuddy to level them to lvl 15, and then used dungeonbuddy to run dungeons with them 5.

A couple of hours ago, they got banned, all 5 of them. The reason: Offense: Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

I was like, tehfak? I've been running Firelands with 5 accounts 24/7, they've been gathering shitloads of gold. Some of it I sold, some of it I used to buy stuff.
Now I create a new team, which litteraly haven't touched ANYTHING that has to do with economy, other than receive 70k from a different account and buy heirlooms from a vendor.

Anyone else have similiar experiences? Why and/or how would Blizz do this? You think appealing could work? I mean, its not even been 48 hours since initial creation of those accounts.
If this is gonna happen to all future accounts I create then botting isn't really viable anymore :P

You got traded 70k gold that's why it triggered, make a ticket and just say a friend helped you out so you could buy heirloom gear and multi box em.

Yeah I figured I'd blame it on multiboxing and a friend gifting me 70k for heirlooms. Still, 70k isn't that much nowadays... People sometimes trade 100-300k face-2-face for some mythic raid :P
But yeah I'm gonna throw a call to Blizz tomorrow... thx for the reply

did you use free movie ticket accounts? they have been banning tons of the free wow movie ticket accounts....

Actually, they were banning the botters, which have started mindless 24/7 botting on these accounts since their first second.

And this is neither new or different with the movie ticket accounts. It is common for Blizzard since years!

Well thats exactly the thing. With 5 accounts I've been running 24/7 for about 10 days, so thats 240 hours pretty much straight.
The accounts I created yesterday haven't even run 20 hours (due to maintainence this morning), and they're already banned. And not even for 'using 3rd party software', no, for exploiting economy! I mean like fak, they haven't touched any AH, player, bank or gbank whatsoever, apart from receiving 70k and buying some heirlooms from an NPC. It is theoratically and practically perfectly possible that a friend gave me 70k to buy those items. As a matter of fact, that's exactly what happened, but the 'friend' was me myself, from my non-botting main account.

So I called Blizz today, explained that I got 70k from a friend and only multibox'd. the support dude forwarded my case to some other department and they emailed me that they deteced use of 3rd party software...
The only thing the customer support could offer me is change the ban to a 6 month suspension if I uploaded my ID. Yeah, well, no thx.

Anyways, I think I'm pretty flagged, seeing that I only used those accounts for like 20 hours and already got banned.
What things could I do to prevent a possible new team from getting banned within 24 hours again? Is using a VPN gonna suffice? Don't really feel like re-installing my whole PC tbh...

considering they detected 3rd party software, not sure you can do anything but, try and reinstall windows. Id also change my ip, thats just me.

Did you bot with the new account on the same PC as the old account?
My friend cant bot on his PC whatsoever, his first time got him banned within 24 hours. He never botted in the past and we suspect it was because I logged into his pc, Possibly flagged me for botting and blizzard took his PC as mine, I dunno, Just curious.

No, it won't suffice and no it's not going to keep you any safer.

If you want to be safe, doing the whole reinstall would be one step...Another would be to create accounts with absolutely no personal info that could tie you to your old accounts. This includes:

1. a completely different name
2. a completely different address
3. a completely different location from where the original accounts were created from (ie. some public wifi 2 cities away from your current location)
4. absolutely no payment options that could be used to tie you to your other accounts (ie. have a friend that has no flags on their account buy everything for you)

Blizzard tracks way too much information on accounts to think that a VPN is actually going to do anything to protect you. They have literally hundreds of other pieces of info they track on you that they could be used to tie your accounts together.

you wont be flagged at all for just having 10-15 accounts banned. Don't let your paranoia ruin your botting man.
