So, I was watching my bot farming PLvLs in Act II Oasis, everything was fine.

All of a sudden a yellow message popped up in the chat box, "You are now Away: AFK."

This is the first time I have seen such sings happen, my bot was casting skills and moving all the time so why would the game determine that I am AFK?

I would like to know anyone else has similar experience and shed some light as to why this is happening.

Could this be part of the mechanics for bot detection?

*Fingers crossed*

The wow client checks for input from keyboard & mouse to determine afk idle status.

As of diablo v1.4 something, they added a similar check, which logged out a lot of D3 bots.

For WoW, Anti-afk plugins like rarekiller, send regular keypresses and jumps, some CRs also rebuff the player, which can remove the idle timer, and plugins like sharp jump, eh, sometimes works, but its glitchy in combat/flying/nav.

From memory, http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/plugins/82535-standalone-yet-another-relogger.html YAR has the anti-idle process check to keep the process active, etc.

New version is http://www.thebuddyforum.com/showthread.php?t=111260

Try a search on the topic.

There's an option in DB to "keep game in foreground" that won't let that afk show up.
