Storm peaks, Gear wise?

Questions:
1. What gear should I have for example before going there
I just don't know how well "Geared" I should be before going there and if it is even worth it.
2: Is It worth farming at Storm peaks vs SHolzar basin
3: How should I go about getting above gear as a paladin? :O

my paladin is lvl 80 with crap gear, couple pvp epics, couple blues, couple greens. Dont need much

I must have a crappy setup then pardon my french because I die so much it isnt even funny.

if its a paladin, just get some pvp boe blues, titansteel destroyed and an odd boe epic and you ll be fine
storm peaks is much more worthwhile in my experience than sholazzar
