Stop looting so the lvling goes faster?

I just wonder if I could turn off the "Loot Mobs" in Settings & Tools so I skip looting all the unecessary stuff and make my lvling go faster.
I use KickAss questing profile for Alliance.

The thing is, will it still loot quest items that has to be looted even if I turn the feature off?

yes, it would go faster (in terms of killing) but no you need it on because it wont loot the quest items needed with it off.
just leave it on, and vender the junk, and call it free gold.

You're wrong. You can turn it off and it will loot quest items only. He even clarifies that in his profiles.

By the way, I have leveled till 83 and got 5k gold in my backpack. I know it's like 8h of botting mining alone, but if you are leveling on a new server it will let you buy 280 flying quite fastly.

Just sayin'!

(would have made hella more gold if I picked up skinning)
