Stop botting?

Just got a whisper from a random on my server after about 2 hours 30 min of farming, telling me to stop botting.

the sick thing is i disconnected before i got a chance to reply, and i dont remember his name.

what do you guys suggest i do ? stop botting for a while ?

i would suggest to stop botting on that toon for a while, or namechange.

some ppl write down names of bots, give them a warning, and then if they still proceed to bot... ban

Get the addon Elephant it keeps a log of all whispers chat and everything even if you get a dc

I'd stop for a day or so...Or move to a COMPLETELY new area.

Also, I'd go for Buddycenter over Elephant, same log, MUCH more features.

Getting banned is a risk of the game, bot either continue botting or stop at all because bots nowadays are easier to spot than black people in a lighty room.

I've totally added known ninjas on my server to friends for exactly this reason, then outed them after they namechange... i consider it pvp to shatt on them like they shatt on others

As for botters, i would never of bothered. Prior to coming here i was under the assumption the majority of bots were chinese ppl on stolen accounts. Since i started using HB myself for arch/fishing i've spotted a couple of people, made a new lvl 1 alt and whispered them just for shits and giggles *evil grin*
