still safe to bot?

just bought myself BC + MoP since it was $15 and was thinking of leveling a toon on a dead server to phase myself for when I farm. (I'm adding 2 months so I can get the mount + 2 free months anyways )

But I'm wondering if it's still safe to bot since I heard from my buddy that botting is getting increasingly less safe. I'm aware that I should "bot at my own risk" but I'm interested in the current state of safety more than anything (mostly for leveling my bot, probably questing).

I have had no problems with the question bot at all using Kickz profiles 2 fresh 90's off it!

Questing seems safe enough, allthough im not so sure about grinding you`re way up, easier for people to spot someone doing the same thing all over again in the same pattern. Just got my upgrade from 1 to 3 keys so I can start using RAF. Going with a tank with full heirlooms and a healer class =)

Let me make an analogy for you, and you may draw your own conclusions from it. K?
Botting, safely, is the equivalent of the survival rate of a middle age white male walking through the streets of harlem shouting the N word.
He might make it home without a scratch on him but, chances are, at one point or another he is going to get something broken (or shot, and killed, out right).

I admit the, above, example is a tad bit on the extreme side but ... you get the idea; there is always risk and if you aren't willing to take it - you shouldn't be botting.
