Still making enough $ from gold sales?

Hi all,

I've been away from wow for upwards of 1.5 years, used to raid and bot with GB alot when i was active.

Had a nosey around mmowned and the official forums - looks like a lot of people are disenchanted with the game right now and the direction it's taking.

I have a few questions if anyone is kind enough to answer?

A) What sort of prices, on average, is gold being sold at these days to for eg gold companies?

B) Are their significantly more people being caught botting or is it still a case of bot smart and you most likely won't be caught?

I'm sure there'll be a few trolls waiting to flame me - but i'm contemplating coming back to the game and botting again, just interested to know what's happening in the general community and more specifically the botting community.

Idk about selling gold prices but buying gold is around $1.5 dollars per 1000 gold.

Botting is still about the same...if not a little safer because HB is waay better than it was 18 months ago.

Those prices ($1.5 per 1k gold) are obviously what gold selling companies are paying for gold on American servers. I remember that on EU servers, where i'm based, the prices were always slightly lower.

Anyone able to chip in with their recent experience on EU servers regarding gold prices? Many thanks.

Id rather say around 0.4 to 0.6 per 1k if you sell your gold to the chinese.

I had a chinaman offer me .34 per k for the 300,000 i was trying to get rid of, i kindly told him to eat it.. I shopped around and found someone to take it all for .60 which was still painful. US server btw.
