I got mine working, Just had to sleep for a few hours and then tried everything from scratch. I had to uninstall all the C++ things from my control panel -> remove programs manually. And then it worked flawless.
no need Tony as it is as simple as what abc is stating just need to login and goto character so it bugs out on the login screen but least we all know now and you can do a fix
