Hey there,

has anybody a idea if it is possible to start Diablo III twice?
I gave some trys like creating another windows user and I also set up a VM - but its not working (VMs seems to be too slow to start up D3)

Any other ideas you can share with me?

Thanks :).

I would try 2 diablo installations... like just copy the folder? i havent tried it or played the game though

Start -> Run ->
"C:\Path\To\Diablo III.exe" -launch

It has been suggested to do a full copy of the Diablo III folder, due to increased load times, file read times if you're running multiple clients from same data files.

EDIT2: Scratch this question. With 2 full installations and the -launch this works

Is this method confirmed? I tried Sandboxie and it didnt work. I tried sharing the file in Virtualbox(VB) and it didnt work. I'm now attempting with a full install on VB and it does the whole loading and stuff but then wont actually load the login. The process exists but not the window. I read somewhere that with isboxer you have to share a certain cache file but I cant seem to find that again. I'm not gonna pay for that software, but would like to know how they achieve this without a VB or dual installation.

Any ideas would be great.

EDIT: single installation with the -launch doesnt work. Will try again with 2x installs
