The UltraBall looking icon is your player. Click the map to move your player. You can click and drag the map to pan. Scroll wheel zooms in and out. Bot must be stopped for you to be able to move around.
My favorite spot is Central Park. You can also get really good results in San Francisco and some spots in L.A. Near Big Ben in London is good, and so is the Sydney Amphitheater in Australia.
