There's a program for another mmo i bot in that spoofs the entire hardware config of a machine when it logs into the game, among the things spoofed is the mac address. Is there any program that can spoof my computer mac address ONLY for D3 the moment it logs in and sends the hardware data? This program is only tiny but it does a very good job. If there was a way to spoof the mac address, I could run multiple d3s off one pc more safely without using VMware.

I see, well since such a program exists already for another mmo, it must be possible to make one? Not that i can, but someone else maybe.

What for? In IPv4 the MAC address doesn't make it past your router.

That's wrong. Eve uses mac address to check if you're running a trial account, and blocks other accounts being logged in if you are. If you spoof the mac for each log in using the program i talked about, you can log in as many as you want.

The guy has a log of all the data the client collects for the server. It includes mac address, computer name, GPU name and provider, video adapter ID, windows version etc.

I don't understand why you all go to such extreme limits to spoof your MAC and hardware addresses, people multibox legitly using ISBoxer and you can't get banned for that...

Because game companies can flag any accounts being ran concurrently from the same computer to be checked for botting. They may or may not do this, Diablo 3 is supposed to be 1 client per computer at a time. So it's likely they do, and even if they don't do it now, they could start at any time. It's called using common sense.

This thread really interest me :) is there any chance someone of you could develop something similar ?
