Spending gold to make more profit?

I have been botting a while now gathering ores and herbs. This is what i do:
Ores > Prospect other character > Make jewelry
from the uncommon rings, and blue cuts from the rare gems > Send uncommon jewelry to alt for DE
Herbs > Mill other character > Make Inks > Make darkmoon cards
I also make glyphs from the inks i get

This way i've gained 40k this week.

I really want to have like 500k before i will start selling my gold. I was wondering if i should invest the 40k i made in more ores and herbs or do something else with it to make more gold?

Good god. Don't 'invest' in things you can farm. It seems you already at least a few professions.
Try out Alchemy, make some flasks and such out of the herbs for a while.
Change it up. Don't just flood the server with one thing forever, as it will ruin the market over time.

I have one more spot for another profession on my alt. Also leveling a pally with HB so i can get more proffessions aswell soon.

Should i go for transmute/potions/flasks? I heard flasks kinda sucked these days and potions are a lot better to sell.

Edit: Transmute sounds okay too! I can xmute stuff like pyrite ore or rare gems.

Oh many bots running for 40k/week? Just one I hope, else your doing it wrong.

Currently I bot 2 accounts, both herb/mining in Uldum/Vashjir and Twilight Highlands, and have them send the herbs/volatile lifes to one toon and the ore to my other. All ore gets posted as raw ore and the herbs I use to make flasks.

I make around 100k/week this way. Most of the gold comes from the flasks I sell, but I make around 40k from ore alone.

Yep just one, and that one character isnt even botting everyday. Usually a couple of nights when i sleep or overday when i am at work. Im thinking about getting 2 more accounts but i first need to find a website that will buy my gold.

Also i am leveling a paladin now with questing profiles, want to see how good and fast that goes before i will get more accounts. Since those accounts need to be leveled aswell.

Well, i have to be doing something wrong... I make 5K a week (if i'm lucky), doing the same things... I have a these profesions: Jewelcrafting 500 (without all the final recipes), Inscription 521 (without the glyphs which you learn from books), Mining 525, Skinning 525, Herbalism 525 and Enchanting 525... And i can't make gold... I just cant.

How much do Twilight Jasmine and Elementium ore cost (per stack) in your server? In mine, raw mats sell for shit...

You can't just say "you are doing something wrong", it depends a lot on the server.

on my server I get 19g for one stack elementium and around 20-25g for a flask ^^
