Speeding up Gathering

I notice that Gatherbuddy stops for 2-3 seconds upon flying next to the herb/node, before dismounting and then harvesting.

Is there any way to speed this process up? I was thinking of enabling auto-dismount while flying and maybe commenting out a few lines in a druid flight form plugin, but I don't know if it would be practical or not.

If anyone knows any other solutions, I'd really appreciate it
