Soulpdx's Gate of Setting Sun Farm (Nerfed) ​

Hey guys I'm back with another private profile that is highly requested by a few people.

This area is on top of the Gate of setting sun. This gate is west of the vale and is described in the picture below.

Again as with all my profiles this is a Questing base profile. The bot MUST BE ON QUEST BOT!!!

What you will be farming is the Following:
Krik'thik Needlers - Krik'thik Needler - NPC - World of Warcraft
Krik'thik Warriors - Krik'thik Warrior - NPC - World of Warcraft
Krik'thik Swarmers - Krik'thik Swarmer - NPC - World of Warcraft
Krik'thik Locust guards - Krik'thik Locust-Guard - NPC - World of Warcraft

These guys are great for Motes of Harmony, Black Prince Rep, Windwool Cloth, and Greens that you can DE for MATS! Also great to get some lvl 85 blues so leveling your toons isn't so boring.

Like all my grinding profiles they Fly to repair and mail and fly back.

WARNING

This profile has had known issues with repair. The bot will try to repair outside of my values and instead of flying it runs. If it runs you will fight everything on the way back and you will get stuck on things in the main city hub. I got reported on it and it's not fun to come back to.

In addition the mobs you fight are endless. When you kill 1, 1 lands and you get engaged. So the combat will never stop once it starts.

You need to be able to combat and heal at the same time. This is a serious grind that gets about 250 kills/ Hour. Sometimes the Mobs will gang up on you and you will be against 5 of them or even 6.

But as always have fun and alliance version will come out soon if someone would give me some feedback on my Gao-Lai ruins one.

Alliance profile in beta stage please let me know if it gets stuck in the Shrine during repair. Made it with a dead horde character.

Is there a plugin or something that you recommend to make it target faster (ex: sometimes it just stands there doing nothing even though there might 3 bugs attacking a guard) ?

Sounds like a CC issue. Set your pull distance to 30 and check kill between hotspots in the bot settings.

If it still does it you might just be loading the tiles. If the issue persists please post a log.
 
CC is still buggin out on repair. Someone who watches the bot can you tell me what percent it's trying to repair at?
 
I would love an alliance one :)

tried it for about 15-20 mins got skyshard and 10 greens and about 12 motes. :)

I'm going to use the Hotspots from my other profile let me know how it does.
 
start testing this now im going to run it for an hour and see how it goes
 
I advice you to add a reference (if the author is okay about it ofc) to this plugin : [Plugin]Combat Looter (5.0.x ready)
I'm farming this zone for some weeks now as a Blood DK, and I've lost so many loots by not being able to kill mobs fast enough. This plugin force loot jsut after killing a mob. It may slow down everything but you will be able to loot every corpse.

Edit : Ho and this is certainly the best spot right now for harmony and skyshard.
Using my own profile (surely not as good as this one ;) ) i've got in 15hours : 60spirit of harmony, and 7skyshards.

Just figured out that the AutoAttack plugin was the problem
since i disabled it i don't fall off the wall
but thanks for the fast reply it's the best profile for skyshard farming with blood dk

How do i use this plug in ? really want it :)
 
I'm falling off walls on my Shadow Priest - no 'auto attack' plugin being used. Nothing seems amiss in my settings. Any ideas?
 
Confirmed after hours of farming, no motes, no greens and less gold. Not sure about Skyshards though. It has been hotfixed
