Earlier today I was playing my wowbot and come across an incident which made me want to post a thread onto these forum's about a certain Dk farming with me.
I posted his name and his realm to maybe spark a conversation with him and get some socializing going,
Instead I got a 3 day ban, turned to 6 hours and many people flaming me about what i done wrong.

I am writing this now to say to everyone that read that i am sorry and I did not mean anything bad to come of this.

So to all you who read and was very upset and angered by my post, I am very truely sorry.
I am ashamed so I am writing this thread so you all can see.

Thank you.

(P.s Sorry if this is in the wrong section but i thought maybe this was best place to stick it).

well done Nathan,nice post

dont worry everything is ok :)

Thank for being a man(assuming) and being able to humble yourself enough to apologize. Not many can do that.

You are new to botting, i guess. We all do "newbie" misstakes in the beginning, or atleast new to botting forums ^^. I would probably have done that mistake myself if i just got a bot :) But since i'm a "old" botter, i've learned many things on the road, so to say hehe.
And i'm sure the majority of us, who has been botting for couple of years, has gone throgh the same thing as you did (beeing ganked, and vice versa) =P

Welcome to the botting community mate! :)

the reason we have those rules is to protect current botters. You never know when your own name is brought up. Not everyone on these forums can be trusted and you never know who is watching.

It is just respectfull to leave all names out of the eyes of other botters :)

But I agree, not many post an appology. Thumbs up

But what compensation will the said "Other Botter" get when he now faces the Ban Stick? Very serious mistake, I personally think you are getting off very lightly here.

Everyone can do misstakes, but I hope you understand that posting toon names is a big no-no.

Awwwwwwww that's nice. You were able to man up and apologise to the community and the DK you wronged. Well good for you.

The other post has likely been deleted and there is no saying the the player ever got reported or blizz ever saw the post.

I must say that I am sure most people here appreciate the apology!

I checked into it, and the OP has the name of the character removed so there will likely be no bans from Blizz about it.

Respect to you for standing up and saying you were wrong, many people wouldn't have done that, but we all make mistakes. I'm sure you will be ok from now on, good luck
