Soon to be a GB'er. Need some info help

Hello guys.

The past 3 days i have been thinking of starting using GB and HB, but I got some questions about how to do it, the most "safe" way.

First. I'm raiding on my main account, and want to buy a 2.nd account for botting. My question is, is it stupid to use RAF to bind my botting acc to my Main raiding acc?
If i get a ban on my bot acc, will they stop my main acc aswell?
I have no intent of using my main acc to sell stuff on AH, will keep everything on the bot acc.

And secondly, Is it a bad idea to run both acc's at the same time on the same IP? Will blizzard ban pr. IP or by account?

Hi there. Welcome to the Honorbuddy community!

No, no risk involved in making a RaF link to a botting account. Blizz only take action against accounts that are botting, not against any accounts linked to them through RaF. In fact, many botters here have multiple WoW accounts linked to the same Battle.net account, as Blizzard don't ban other WoW accounts on the same Battle.net account either (unless they too are caught botting, of course).

To my knowledge, I'm not sure about IP bans, however there is much talk on the Ban forums that when you are caught botting, they do scan the MAC address of your PC and ban any other accounts that are running at the same time on that MAC address if they are also botting. I have never heard of a legit account being banned this way though.

One last question, would you suggest to buy lifetime of, gatherbuddy to get the free honorbuddy aswell?
Dont know if i will be running bg lvling or grinding yet.

You could always do like I did, buy it and see how you like it, and then upgrade to lifetime later.. Welcome, dont worry about linking accounts, never had any issues with my linked accounts
