Something to help with low tps and fps

So I usually get around 10~16 tps and a max of 20 fps. What I've found is that if I raise diablo's CPU privilege to real-time and set db's privilege to above normal, I instead get ~20-28 tps and 30 fps. Not a major improvement but since it was important for me to get tps out of the <15 zone, it worked for me.

p.s. to raise a thread's CPU privilege, go to task manager, in Details tab, right click the thread (diablo III.exe for diablo and gibberish for db), set priority (real time for diablo, above normal for db.)

p.p.s. I have everything in diablo set to low (low shadow, low anti-aliasing, etc) but have v-sync on. I also had everything else killed (any background program not related to diablo/db) even if they seem harmless.

p.p.p.s I have an i5-6500 so single-thread wise it's not a strong CPU but I'm able to work with it. Graphic wise I have both a RX-460 and a GTX 1070, both cards are able to run diablo @ v-sync fps smoothly and work with DB.

Thanks for share and fk DB, are they really working on fixing low tps fps issue, or they are having beer and eating their German sausage

For me I had to turn off windows defender antivirus. It was the culprit. ( Windows 10 )
