Yea I'm taking this down. Since I made this the amount of mageweave on my server has increased by about 100x and the price has dropped from 50g a stack to 5g a stack. Every time I go to grind some cloth or some quick experience there's usually 4 people there botting.

there are many guides in the Submitted Profiles section. most come with blankprofile.xml to get you started

I got my outline from the wiki.. That wasn't really the feedback I was hoping for dude.. In fact your comment really has no rhyme or reason.

I have no idea if it will vendor or mail things.

the guide i mentioned will help with that.

I'm not sure how HonorBuddy works but I don't have a specific vendor or mailbox picked out like other profiles do.

again, the guide...

Please leave some feedback so I can work on my profiles. I plan on making a lot of my own profiles from now on.. Now that I sort of have a loose idea how.

Here is some feedback: Go to the guides section if you want to learn how to fill in the blankprofile.xml file.

Welcome to HB!!

Geez, you're quick Frosticus!

I believe you misread Volgir's original post--he is not asking for help, but offering a profile he wrote. He's offering it to the Community, and asking if there's any way it can be improved.

cheers,
chinajade

ahhhh. i thought he was asking for help with mailboxes. my fault. i've often thought about farming cloth for profit. i might try this. what level char was used to test? can i go in with my lvl 45?

thanks for the upload!!

Chinajade would be correct.
I tested with my level 90 prot warrior but he was never attacking more than one ogre at a time. So if you take some food you should be okay. Tanaris is rated for levels 45 to 50.
I would also assume if you used a prot warrior or something like a frost mage that has a shield and slowing moves or even decent long range damage you would be able to do this no problem.

It's an incredibly rough profile especially compared to the one I'm testing now. I'm going to add a more structured hotspot sort of route to this profile and remove the random hotspot.

Frosticus if you test this on a level 45 can you post your results if it was dying or unable to keep up with the mobs. Thanks.

I wish I could remember where in Tanaris this profile farmed because I would put up a picture of where to start but I just took the flight path to Gadgetzan and it ran me there and starting killing ogres.

my new monk is 20ish, so ill be through there in a couple days. if your profile could handle lvl 40ish toons, it would be a great alternative to the gankfest that gadgetstan is. id even be happy if it didnt go into town to avoid the 90's. 40-45 is a nightmare.

You could probably avoid the towns but like I said I was piled but that was after about an hour. Bots barely went through there let alone actual people playing.

I'll look around for alternatives to Gadgetzan.

i work on the largest pvp server [yeh, not the wisest choice i know] so ganking is a real problem in certain areas. it wouldnt be a big deal at all on most servers.
