something about this 6 month ban bugs me

Account just got banned, last time checking was ~20 min before the ban.
Account survived 13 days.
not complaining, but I have never seen this 6 month ban before
What the fuck is this shit.
Its either 3 days or perma, pretty sure the number 6 months never appeared before in this section.

This account was only 13 days old, and I did the same thing I did with the old one(which got a perma, but was caused by my recklessness on another account it was linked with)
here's y 2 cents: Blizzard does not want gold from botters to interfere with the initial price of tokens, thus the 6 months ban so that when the account are good again the price is already settled.
But that cannot be the reason--if blizzard already caught me botting why the fuck would he allow me to play again in 6 months instead just nuking me with a perma?
Also the reason: "Exploitation of game mechanics"
It is your fucking job to keep the game mechanics balanced blizzard.

There are just soo many things not right about this 6 months ban...

it seems to be new - apparently they ban for 6 months now. i don't know if they stepped back from perm bans with that (which would be great, obviously) or if there are no 3 day bans anymore, which would be bad.

6 Month bans are a new thing. Used to be either a 72-hour ban or perm. Not sure why they would do a 6 month ban.. other than maybe covering their own rear ends. With the amount of money sunk into purchasing this game + game time.. I'm sure some people would be willing to fight. That's just my own opinion. Could also just be that they did away with the 72's and are now doing 6 months to perm.
