I was reading Dredoc's banned post, s/he posted Blizzard's response e-mail:

Game Master Seronyth here, at your service! I noticed you were confused about your account, and saying you got penalized for doing nothing at all =[

Rest assured I was gladly able to investigate your report, and found significant evidence that third party programs were found, even several days before the penalty was applied - and this account was closed due to the unfair advantage gained ingame due to those done on your Human Priest "mypriest" even back on 3/18/15 almost 7 days before this penalty =[

I was able to search your account records as far as they could go, but found no other play locations that have logged in without your login information readily available, no password resets or forced logins were found, and it seems like the only one who was able to fully login had access to multiple security verifications. Since I can find no evidence of malicious entry here, that there were several investigations that showed Exploitation, and that you were the only one online for several days before the penalty was made - this has been suspended for 6 months due to that unfair advantage gained.

I promise it truly pains my soul, but this cannot be played or logged into by any player or employee now; but can be accessible again on 9/24/15 when this has expired =]

Now do be careful though, the account holder is held responsible for the accounts actions - and I cannot guarantee we can unlock again if this happens again =[ https://us.battle.net/support/en/art...-access-policy

But if it helps, here are some other great links about why we don't agree with account sharing or third party programs - and how we can catch those in action!

And If you have any other questions or something else troubling ya in the meantime - don't hesitate to let us know so I can check it out!

First of all, I gotta give Bliz +1 for the over-all creative RP response. But they are still bastards nonetheless. Those
are just mocking us botters.

ok, I BOLDED and UNDERLINED what Bliz wrote which would support the theory Bliz flags accounts. I call it a theory because if they went to the trouble of Flagging, why not proceed with an instant ban? Was it too small of evidence that the botter could talk him/herself out of??

Which brings me to the BOLDS, these are some signs of compromised accounts that a botter can allude in order to reverse the bans. Knowing these signs, it is assumable, to force-reset password prior to sessions of botting for greater chance at disputing ban.

On a last note, I noticed they included links at the end of their e-mails... wouldn't it be humorous if they included some links to HB's ban forum post - just to rub more salt in our wounds. Thanks for reading this!

well but it's not new that they sometimes (or maybe almost always) ban you days or maybe even weeks after they "detected" you were using HB

at my last ban 1 year ago I haven't botted in 2 weeks before. nothing, nada. they do not ban you immediately.

Your concerns have solid ground, actually!

Luckily, they do explain some noticeable botting flags on the account, and the time frame when this happened.

That does not mean they were ready to ban it at that moment 7 days, but more likely, that was the first "flag" for botting on the account, and the common sence could say, that their policy should involve 2-3 or more flags, for the account to get sanctioned.
