Dear Support

I receive an immediate crash after attaching HB, tried several times, all same crash. WoW does work perfectly without HB launched, tested 1 hour.

Steps taken to resolve the issue:

Restart HB
Restart WoW (via HB launcher)
Restart WoW (via blizz client (with x86 option on))
Restart Windows
Disabling all wow addons
Disabling Avast
Reinstall HB + Running it (disabling all HB plugins)
Running HB (enabling preinstalled HB plugins)
Reinstall WoW
Reinstall Windows (yes, full format, waited till all updates finished, rebooted)

Checked http://wiki.thebuddyforum.com/index.php?title=BosslandGmbH:HelpDesk:Programs_that_Interfere_with_BosslandGmbH_Products and non of them are installed on this clean windows.
Checked for Udis86Net file, its present.

Video link reyndersj.be/crash.avi. Its very small file but requires you to have xvid. Its running 16fps, 1 frame = 1 second. But you can play it in slow motion if you need something specific.

Thx in advance.
Xree

Hi, Ouhac,

Just wow—very nice problem report! Kudos on all the things you've already tried!

First, let's make certain that all the necessary dependencies are in place. Please re-install Honorbuddy using the 'installer', and not the zip file. You can find it here:
Unlike the zip file, the installer makes certain all the necessary OS framework is present and intact.

We looked through all the logs, and there is definitely a program on your machine that is interfering with Honorbuddy. This leaves two possibilities:

  • Did you remember to make the Honorbuddy folder an exception in your Antivirus?
If you haven't installed a third-party Antivirus, then you are running Windows Defender by default, and you will need to add an Honorbuddy exception for it. More info here:

  • You are running an interfering program that we've yet to identify.
The programs on the list are popular ones we've confirmed interfere with Buddy bots. You may have installed something that is not popular, or that we've yet to identify as a problem.
If you find a new program that should be on the list, please let us know!
Recall that for many interfering programs 'disabling' them is frequently insufficient, and you will need to actually 'uninstall' them to terminate their inteference. This is because many of them have components that hook the OS, or run background daemons that interfere even when they are 'disabled'.

No effect

Thx :)

Yesterday it sometime gave access violation errors and on blizz form they also recommended video driver reinstall. Today after that it just keeps saying "World of warcraft has stopped working" after a few seconds HB attaches to wow. :/

New steps taken, but no resolve :(

Reinstalling video drivers.
Uninstalled Avast and added the honorbuddy folder to the exeption list of windows defender.
Uninstalling "Mouse without borders" app that hooks mouse to emulate a KVM.
Let wow start by HB Launcher.
Let wow start trough wow.exe and let HB attach (Found out you can hardlink Wow-64.exe to Wow.exe to surpass it launching in x64)
Let wow start by blizz agent and HB attach. The agent detect the hardlinks and fixes it back, lolz. When trough blizz agent Setting to enabled it to start in x86).

None of steps changes the situation.

I think I got it. Omg, all my fault, should have better checked:

AMD Gaming Raptr is the bad ass.

Its titled something like "AMD Gaming Evolved" in my systray instead of Raprt, so I didn't noticed but its all the same. Im so relieft, this costed me 3 days of my life :-p.
