So i just started playing again after a long down time never had any problem running Hb before. Im running on a new laptop now first time using Hb on it. Runs windows 10 if that helps. Your problem is an interfering program. These articles will help you work through the usual suspects:
The AntiVirus is easily the most common source of interference, so its best to eliminate it as a problem source, first. Also lately, many users have been bit by Plays.tv. It appears that Radeon is now bundling support for it with their video tools. Need to get rid of Plays.tv, if Radeon installed it for you.
If its not those, then its time to closely examine your system for the other programs on the list.
