Sold 100k Via OWNED CORE

hey guys looking for some helpful advice.

The agreed sale was for 125,000 gold in world of warcraft I found the player on OwnedCore.com and we agreed to speak via Skype to arrange the transaction.
We agreed a price of $0.80 per 1k gold which totalled to $100 USD.

2 days have passed since whati thought was a smooth transaction but just now ive received one of those lovely emails from paypal saying the person has reversed the payment (HATE THESE)

i have the whole skype log which shows his real name on skype and it matches his paypal email address name.

what are my chances on winning this dispute i also have screenshots and logs of the transaction he even linked me the paypal transaction ID via skype.

input please!!!

It depends what he's claiming. You should win since paypal has a STRICT no refund on virtual goods, such as WoW gold. Now, if he's claiming he did not do that transaction, as in it was a stolen paypal - then you will not win.

Contact Paypal and link them the evidence.

But next time, make you the transfer is not reversible Also, try to report him to Blizzard, just claim you know he bought gold. But really, looks like the gold is lost to me.

He's paid for it with a stolen credit card. You wont get anything back. They wont accept evidence in a form of a screenshot.

thanks for you reply the email from paypal states its a unauthorised account activity claim.

tbh im hoping the guy is retarded because ive asked paypal to check ip addressed from which the account has been used etc. he also gave away information such as what country he was from.

he stated to me on skype he was from Australia and when i logged into paypal i checked his email address domain and it links to a company in Australia.

who knwos how this will turn out..

When you selling gold do not accepst paypall from random people.

The chances are ok.

Open a dispute, present the evidence and stress the point that what you've sold were virtual goods, which are non-refundable according to PayPal rules.

For the future, do the following:

1) Make the seller confirm their PayPal email - send them some text and ask them to copypaste it to Skype. This way you at least will semi-protect yourself from hacked PP accounts and false claims.

2) When using PayPal, the safest way to get paid is via invoice. Make a statement like this:

"By accepting this invoice, I acknowledge the fact that I am purchasing a virtual item with no warranty and I shall not open a dispute or use chargeback according to PayPal policy on digital goods and services.

I acknowledge the fact that prior to this purchase, I have confirmed my email address to the seller.

I confirm the fact that I've participated in Skype/MSN/Wutever conversation with %your skype name% under alias %their skype name% on %date%."

This should help a lot in case of dispute.

3) If you are selling on Ownedcore, do not sell to people who have registered recently and/or have no reputation. Vast majority of them are fucking scammers. It doesn't help if you don't have much reputation either, so donate and do some rep whoring to get at least like 20 rep before you start selling.
