So, with what class have you had the best time botting ?

So i am just wondering, what class and spec was the best performing for you ?
Personally i tried playing Arc witch, ts archer, cyclone mara and scion molten strike, the best performing was marauder since its most tankiest obviously
So witch had huge damage output but since bot routine just stands still and casts it was killed fast ( this is with GOOD gear, not best but really good gear )
Archer wasnt best geared but it performed good, im looking for some input on how archer does with good gear ? thanks
Cycloner with typhonus was my "main" botting char and it performed really nice up to lvl 75 maps, nothing to complain about it i would suggest this build to all new botters
Molten strike was mediocore, did well but also couldnt handle some bosses

So new league ill be buying another key and will be double client botting, most likely using the same builds
Ill probably do mara totemizer, hopefully the routine will be decent so i dont have to reroll new class early in the league
So what are you experiences with the bot routine and specs ?
Just a friendly person trying to share what i know here

Immortal blow marauder full block high armor awesome with < 1 exalt cost (haven't tried post 2.0)
Ice crash marauder full block high armor awesome with < 1 exalt cost
Arc awesome but less awesome with < 1 exalt cost, tended to get stuck facing allies are immortal groups. (non crit)

Well, for Arc you need a specific handling for those Vaal totems or auras, like lightning ball instead of arc if detected and so on...

I tried tornado shot, it's very very good for currency farming.
Also tried DW Icecrash, awesome but not really cheap (5-7 ex)

Both are approximatively (without looting scrolls/scraps) at 6-7mn clearspeed. Tornadoshot tends to have more death per hour if cheap geared.
Both works with OldRoutine (maybe needs some minor tweaks to run golems and such)

Any build is decent if well and deeply thought before using with a bot.

So be wise

I ran a split-arrow farmer that melts faces. Followed Neversink's guide to the letter and had little-to no issues, couple problems on boss fights, but that's to be expected. https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1041989
I used a new acct, so it was basically self-pickup gear, still was not a real issue, but yeah NOrthers, pretty much anything is viable as long as you get creative and set things up correctly. =D Think outside the box! (and post questions/setups/ideas often!) ;-)
 
I never tried to run a ranger^^
you can clean maps with ur lowcoast eq?

I thought some freezing builds are better since the bot dont need to kite that much.
thats why I like Icecrusher :D
 
He's currently questing in merciless, and still using a Death Harp lol But yeah, with a little grinding here and there, it didnt have any problem running just self-found gear.
 
what about iir builds? i feel like i get more loot with 8-9 min clearspeed flame totem with 25/200+ iiq/iir.. but also obviously alot of alts

Some tests shown that more than 50% IIR leads to ~ +25% income (by income I mean currency)

Alts are sort of the "botting" currency, you need it for the shuffling part.

If you manage to be under the 10mn clearspeed with 50+% IIR/IIQ you're fine, else I think it's not worth.

I can not finish lvl 84 with my DW Icecrasher ... is there a tip you could give me? Or what Bild are you using?

It's purely based on luck and chickening.
mos of my bots are around 92, but they've been running for a while.
 
TS has worked the best for me, got around 7-8 90-93 chars only botting with neversinks build :cool:

but ill go for the best MF build next league =)
 
300iir melee chars with dual strike,11 mins avg 50% of maps full cleared(not enough portals to take out loot)alot of 1ex+ uniques,shit tons of alts every day,1 death per hour at most.Got 4-5 of those up and running

I like to run duelist flicker. Super fast clear speeds, but on the off chance you don't generate a frenzy when you need one you'll probably die. Super cheap to build up too. Really only need a kaom's primacy and some mana leach on your rings.
 
What do you guys think will be the best builds for 2.1? I'm planning on going hard for the first couple of days probably hitting 80, then getting MF gear and botting the rest of the league, what builds do you think are the best to do this with?
