figured it out i think.

Download GB2 profiles for GB2, GB profiles for GB (old one).

You can't mix them, but as you said, you can convert an old GB profile into a GB2 one.

Just open the xml file with any text editor (ie: notepad) if you got a doubt: old GB profiles use <Hotspot..... /> tags.

converting and profiels are fine. problem is mixed mode. once it leaves BG it wont target when mining. looks like the old BG/grind problem where after leaveing BG it would not target anymore.
