So I need some help advice on how to sell effectively so I don't get over ran with legendarys. Period. I just wanna sell them on the D3 Market in game. But how do you figure a price that will always sell?

Honestly I'm incredibly lazy and just put it up for the default price (which is same as selling to vendor) with no max buyout, this way, market determines price.

I also use Gniller's super-tight loot rules so I salvage most legendaries I find

This. When people start a bid war on an item you can easily make double what it's worth.

Depending on what you have and how much it is worth and how much time you have, you could start with a high price and reduce it with time. If you want real money for your items, auction sites like ebay or Account-Bay.com chould be used for this. While on ebay you have a minimum start price of 1.00 Euro (I'm in europe), account-bay.com has a starting price of 0.01 Euro. So one could also sell items that are worth less than 1 Euro.

If you're finding and picking up shit gear. I'm pulling in 500m+ a week with a single bot.

What are you running? I highly doubt this, I have been botting since last year in September with only one bot up until 3 months ago, and never made anything near that.

And if you are clearing that much off one bot it is incredibly lucky and I would not count on it persisting.

I don't pick up any crap. Ever. Basically if it's in my stash it's worth 150m+.

you must have the luckest bot ever... My best item found was a mara's and sold for 50 mill only anything else i'm lucky to get 1 mill. now that i'm using griller I bet that i won't find anything lol

Also, you've been botting since last September yet your join date here was two months ago....hmmm...

Must be some nice rules. Honestly I'm not trying to make a ton of money just enough to allow me to get marques and the price of the new gems when they come out.. I just don't see enough benefit marques give over the cost right now... 110 crit vs 100 for 20 mill.. bah maybe 150% and i'd do it..

sorry to ask this but I'm not an old user of DB, I also use Gniller's loot rules, how can I make that the bot will salvage what he don't keep instead of selling?

again, sorry but I had to ask :P

I would log onto my other account and respond to prove you wrong, but I have nothing to prove to some random dude on the bot forums. My username was too similar to my main on D3 so i made a new one. And I HIGHLY doubt you find things on a daily basis worth over 150m, unless you have your bot farm up and running again, which got banned not too long ago and you were crying about leaving and never coming back, IIRC?

I can respect that, just trying to keep you honest! ;)

Do you use gnillers lootrules? And witch number of config 100? Or what?

My own modified version based off what I know sells to what markets.

If you are doing that much gold allowing the market to set the price for you, good for you! I was pulling 1,5b daily on average for the last month, yet the recent news have shattered my sales to half of that. That's with 10 bots, and devoting 2 hours daily to deal with sales and refilling the auction.

In my experience, when I gave a chance to open market (expecting what you said, that several people would want the item and it could get overpayed for) all I got was a huge dissapointment. Items worth between 50 and 200 m went sold for 13m or less. Not one or two of them, dozens of them....won't really do that again, yet from time to time I check the AH filtering by fewest time left to find bargains.

The great issue with that is, most people playing don't really want use the auction house (as proven by the recent news) and when they use it, they want an upgrade instantly. The bidding market is mostly composed of auctioners who really know the price most items will sell for. If you are paid 200m for an item, chances are the item will be selling again on a 3x-5x value on the Buyout market.

But back to the OP, you really need to use loot rules unless you wanna spend huge amounts of time clearing your stock. Gnillers (too hard for my taste, yet I understand someone with 30+ bots really needs them) or Darkfriend's hard Rules (My pick, I change them according to the market, but they work great for picking everything worth 2+m, and some utter crap you'll have to get rid of)

And if you devote some time to check the ah in order to set a price for your loot, in no time you'll get to know the market, and you would be able to price an item properly!
