In total?

Actually I have a BETTER question - how many R-o-M users are there in totality? Not sure the dev's would give out such info, but it would be nice to see what the "worst case scenario" of the wave was. For instance if every person using the bot got banned (they didn't) and if they all were running 3 accounts (they weren't) how much of a "bite out of crime" could Trion possibly have taken. I am curious to see how large of a target group they went after. Were there 50 of us botting? 500? 5000?

If i was to wager a guess from looking at the forums and hits on various posts trending I would imagine around 75-125 bot users? Am I close? If so this is an alarmingly low number for Trion to come after! It is not like we were a force running rampant across the lands killing everything in our way mindlessly and "plain ruining the game for all those nice paying customers". It seems more of a small cultist group that kept pretty much to them selves, flew under the radar and chose to not be made a martyr of. It is not like we were ruining the auction house or anything. There is no market in the AH in this game. At all. When the best decision you can make to make gold is just AH everything, yeah.....what market.

Mostly I am just concerned that Sorbo and his boys don't get enough sunlight and have dedicated themselves to eradication any bot they can find.....

So as I said in a different post - time to make things A LOT harder for them to find. ;-)

Beta ready yet? I'm bored off my rocker here as you can tell by my ramblings....lol

I am hoping that many of the "lurkers" will chime in to the poll at least and we will get somewhat of a better idea of the casualties.

Trion can probably see how successful the buddy bots are for wow and are wanting to nip it in the bud before it really takes off. If any bot is going to go on successfully, it'll be this one due to the devs behind it.

Trion are asking themselves that exact same question. It wasn't just a simple software detection so they don't know and it doesn't help us to provide that information for them. While I understand you are bored, this isn't something we want. Locking this.
