So haven't botted in a while, how are the bans doing?

Just reactivated my second account and wondering, how bannable is botting right now? I was planning to do some mining/herb farming on my old 85 DK, but is that something that you guys think will spark a ban or no? I pretty much did the same thing for 80-85 on that account, just made him herb/mine his way there, but looking at the forums seems like getting banned is easier than ever.

Tell you the truth you'll get some people saying pft..hardly any..no sweat..

You'll get some that swear hellfire & brimstone ban waves rolling harder than an ocean storm..

Ya, I think I'll just stay safe and follow my good ole rule: If all else looks dangerous, just bot archaeology.

I personally am not botting gathering professions, however I am botting everything else. Zero bans still.

Just be smart. Bot where there is little to no competition. Right now if you bot gathering professions in Pand then you'll risk getting reported. I barely see any gatherers in Wrath or Cata content.

Everybody got banned while you were gone. You should just give me your HB bot key to play it safe.

There was an increase in bans a couple of weeks ago, but they were all related to abuse of ingame commerce (buying and selling gold). Most HB botters never even noticed it.
