All the whining threads about how DB doesn't work post-patch into here, so I don't have to see 400,000 of them?

It won't work after the patch. They'll need to update it after the patch. Hopefully it won't take long. It probably WILL take long.

I'd love to see everyone actually understand this so we can have a minimum of bitching while I stalk the forums waiting patiently.

Their is a working DB beta on the very latest PTR. Typically they don't change anything after the last PTR update so DB should not be down much once D3 comes back up. What people do need to realize is that any profile that uses resume will not work the same in 1.07. They will have to be updated.

Is that just as easy as making profiles start from town every time? (maybe i should read patch notes sometime soon to know why resume won't work)

EDIT: (a portal will be available to take you to your last known checkpoint, if desired) don't they use portal anyway if you accidentally start with a resume instead of fresh - depending on profile i guess

No, .159 is not the latest beta. It will not work.

For the portals in town in 1.07. My plan is simply to do a ForcedTownRun at the start of the resume profile. I am thinking it will simply take the TP portal once it is done and it should work fine.

.159 is the version of Demonbuddy daily beta builds, so i must wait for new version then.
