I think the biggest flaw of HonorBuddy, especially when it comes to PVP, is how it moves while mounted.

It stops every few steps for a short break. Real players don't do this, especially when its just a straight path ahead of them.

Is it possible for this to be fixed?

More information would be helpful.. such as HB version, battleground your in, default bg profile? what CC are you using?

It should be better with experimental pathing. Also, what is your FPS in WoW?
