Small goals are safe? (my knock on wood success story)

So, im sure there will be a few people here browsing to see what people do to not get banned and what they get. So here is my tale. TLDR at the bottom

I started botting in mid MOP. Largely using the kicks profiles to level an army of alts and bg buddy to gear them and never ran into any problems. I started a second account and used it to farm herbs and ore and grind brim batol back in the day. That has now turned into 4 bot accounts that are run with hb relogger on a pseudo randomized schedule to basically alternate on and off over the course of a full day with no more than 2 on at one time and none grinding dungeons more than 2 and a half hours at a time. Which brings me back to my title. It seems that small goals are safe.

Using this strategy I pay for 5 accounts game time each month, and then depending on how much i keep the bots up, I generate about 300k a month just from the dungeon grinding. I should also mention that even tho I originally started, before the huge ban wave, on mal'ganis. at that time it was one of the 2 highest pop servers in the game. I have since moved to one of the mid sized servers and not having people around to report you must make a huge deal. I have one toon on each bot account in one bank guild. that guild is gm'd and gold is withdrew on my main account. I know a lot of people have a 2 or 3 step process for getting gold on main account but ive been doing this for 6 months now and havent so much as even received a suspicious activity warning.

Just avoid two things. Doing things that normal people wouldnt do. Avoid using the bots for gear. I think blizz cares about that way much more. Avoid having more than 10 bot accounts with more than 2 running at any given time.

TLDR
- Leveling is safe if you watch it and make sure youre not stuck on a log. I have 27 lvl 100s
- Dungeon grinding on bot accounts is safe if youre on a shit pop server
- I have no idea if honor farming via bg buddy is safe on any level.
- Funneling gold directly to you main account via a guild bank is +/- safe
 
Thank you. I also want to play it safe and not do crazy things. My main goal is to save time grinding the boring stuff, and do the fun stuff myself; I don't think I'm looking for any profit.

Looks nice, although for dungeons most zones are Cross Realm now so people from different servers can report you.
 
Yeah, I never, even once, used Honorbuddy in a dungeon. In fact, I'm even afraid of using it in Alterac Valley, for example, as crowded as it can be. I saw it get stuck several times during questing, repeatedly bumping into a wall or a log or something, and realized that it looked so dodgy that probably 5/10 players who would've seen that, would've reported. So if the risk exists during questing, one can only imagine how it would be like in a battleground, let alone a dungeon!
 
I'm noticing many more opportunities to get stuck in the new terrain. Just saying.
 
well think outside the box, i have. here is a tip, figure out the cost of getting banned and reduce it by any means necessary. for my recent profiles i wrote, i dont need a full account. just 2 bots and 4 trials-2 banned have earned me 560k in one month, lost 100k worth due to a setting mess up. Authentication servers had a hicup and i was trouble shooting my bot settings for 4 days, till i wrote an archaic protected item list in the profile. I'm buying a Felreaver mount, and buying every Boe Epic that fits my toons in legion. and buying all my wow hoes crap :cool:

How do you make money from trial accounts? Aren't they capped at level 20? I was thinking that any level 20 stuff won't be remotely profitable at this economy of level-100 characters.
 
How did u make gold on trial accounts please tell me would really help me out need gold on my main account.
 
There is a exploit at the moment on trial accounts that make them full accounts- not apropiote for hb forums sorry..

How ever I will say - if you caught using this exploit your looking at not just a game license ban but a battle.net account ban... And if your caught on to many accounts a HWID ban too.
 
Sorry for the late response. Im doing simple farms for dumb pets, learning them on the trial under the middle man acct that doesn't bot. Cage them and then sell on the middle man or another account. Farmed 70+ tabbies on my own profile I wrote. lost 2 trial accounts maybe 6 weeks ago. Made new ones for free. 550+ kills per hour, 250-300 loots per hour, 0.1 deaths per hour. Blood elf hunter and stat bonus feels best. At least 1 tabby per bot per day. The other day both bots brought back 10 tabbies.
 
Yeah mate, keep it simple small. Your own greed is what gets you banned. Ive gold capped on 3 servers now from farming Mainoff and Farmeron. basically i log off my main log in my alt(hunter) and farm.
