I have a pretty good pc. I've been constantly upgrading the parts in it, but the one thing I haven't upgraded in ages in the graphics card. I'm currently running a GTX 285, and it's about 3 years old now. The performance of it has dropped considerably since I got it. My friend got one not long ago and his is running beautifully which is what made me realise how poor mine has got.
I'm considering getting another 285 to SLI with the current one, as that would get me more performance than buying a new card that lacks the performance of these two. However, I don't know whether putting a new card in SLI with this old one will limit its performance, or even whether the combination of the two will be better than a new card due to how old this one is.
Any ideas?
