skorn - loh vc ls i am missing something?

I gonna buy a gg skorn for my monk ( speeding low mp farm) soo i am looking the prices.I see a 4.8 ls cost like the double of a 1.5k loh.But i make the count with the 80% inferno nerf and even with plus 100 dps the ls dont goes up to 1k.I am missing something?

LS scales with damage so if you crit for like 300k your going to get more out of LS then LoH. Also LS works on all damage done by you as opposed to LoH which works off of proc coefficients.

definitely better with LS on a monk, since his sweeping wind does major aoe damage (which LOH does not account for). It all comes down to your dps, under 60k 1k+ LOH, anything above 60k, LS is the way to go, even if at 3% LS.
