Not sure how many started playing WoW in beta, open Beta ect.....

However, when I first started you weren't allowed to have horde and alliance on same server account at same time ( correct me if i'm wrong I slept once or twice since then. Did play in beta and open beta).

Paladins were alliance and Shaman were horde, they had similiar spell sets executed differently.

I chose Horde ( even though they were quite ugly ) but there racial skills were nice.

My first toon was Tauren hunter.
Started second account made Tauren druid.
At the time these were considered the 2 most overpowered classes and together I had a great duo.
Leveling was much slower than it is now. I made many alts to take advantage of rested exp.

Grind bots popped up everywhere!
I found, used and even created custom classes. WoWSharp forever one of my favorites :)

WARDEN WAS BORN!

So many were banned (

Another bot was born using Lavish software Inner space. ( LaX himself made it possible to hide the botting software from warden)

Then, another Banwave ( Lax unwilling or unable to protect his customers? Lavish software is still amazing and be checked out)

Open Bot and WoWglider born to fill the gap.

Unfortunately openbot died ( lots of great things happened there)

WoWglider prospered for awhile, was successful but to successful ( Sued by Blizzard, still in litigation)

I think I have been lucky. I still have my 2 original open beta accounts. I used each and every one of theses bots. I wrote CC's using these accounts mostly for personal use. Two years ago I took a break from WoW and played Atlantica Online. ( I have lots of gold and items there if someone is interested in trading message me maybe we can make an arrangement.)

Anyway. I got lucky mostly my breaks form the game always seemed to be right before the huge bans that occured. I never used any bots more than 10 hours at a time. Thats probably the only rule I never broke lol. My son used some kind of speed hack got banned less than a month after game was realeased.

The Game has evolved the bots have evolved. I have never abused the economy, sold gold ect.....
I enjoy playing but it does become tedious at times.

Honorbuddy is the most advanced bot, has options many of us only dreamed about a few years ago.
Questing, AB, GB ect... are just amazing. maybe not perfect but if you had used the bots from only 2 years ago you would understand how developed this bot is.

I know I have posted a wall of text, that many will find tedious but the developing community for this bot is amazing and deserve to be congratulated on their work.

Many of you may not appreciate the fact that the developers spend hours, days, even months tweaking a CC or plugin to work properly. The monetary compensation is often minuscule in comparison to the time they spend doing this.

I think I got off subject (probably because I drank a few beers) But WoW is a great game and the botting community is a great community!

Great story :).. and your right about paladins/shamans and that you could only play horde/ally on 1 server :)
