since update: Overlay does not work anymore

Hey guys,

since update, I get this message

Deactivating the overlay because Desktop Composition is disabled which causes a significant drop in FPS while overlay is active. We recommend enabling Desktop Composition because the overlay provides a safe way for Honorbuddy and 3rd party extensions to display in-game notifications and UI elements.

The overlay does not work anymore. My Desktop Composition is enabled. Clean HB install done. Can I get some help?

desktop composition is windows related, not HB.

since i have never had an issue with this. i can only assume the problem is on your end. maybe google to see if there are current issues with desktop composition. did you update your antivirus, windows update, any other updates that may have disabled this?

i just cant see an honorbuddy update affecting a windows setting.

fixed the problem by updating the graphics card driver.

I just updated my graphics card driver, and from what I could find on Google, my Desktop Composition appeared to be on. What fixed this error for me though, was going into Personalize in Windows 7 and changing my theme to one of the Aero ones. I no longer get the message that the OP posted.
