Since Honorbuddy is "detected" does appealing still work?

Now we all that Honorbuddy has pretty much been detected in a certain way. Those who claim different just don't want to believe, but sadly it is. Anyway...

If one gets banned nowdays, using Honorbuddy. Does appealing a ban still work? I've seen several account closures in the ban section lately. Normally they used to be 72 hour max, unless something very serious like scam or gold selling etc. Anyone appealed with succes - after- the banwave? (Not talking about appealing your 6 month).

People need to learn to let go of the accounts they lost, we all know some people didn't want to lose accounts (botted on accounts they cared about) and have been embarrassing us on these forums by basically whining over the fact that Honorbuddy is detected etc, even in the eu wow forums they are laughing.

Appealing bans are a lot harder than they have ever been, you used to be able to say sorry I'll never do it again but they have changed that now.

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but why are you so upset just because Pierala asked a simple question? Deny it all you like, but hb was detected. It may be fixed now, but have no doubt that it was detected and may very well still be. You don't have to flame out on someone that is seeking answers simply because you don't want to believe that hb was detected. denial is one thing, speaking for others is another. dont do both.

Ofcourse this bot was detected, will the tripwire do something about it. no one knows.
Lets assume they dont know what blizzard did, so how do you improve a tripwire.

in the end it comes down to this, blizz has something new, they put their foor down and
poof, we are done. Starting over, no problem, but why a 6 month ban.

Might be something new coming in november. That 6 months wasnt cause they cared.

HB is fine, its users are yet to skill enough to not get shut down before gets profit.

This does not mean the 13.05 suspensions was something unexpected!

Since 2005 till 2012, we were able to bot 24/7 for weeks, without a single minute downtime, and we were happy, right? Were we on profit?

Then Blizzard slowly started to lower their bot tolerance:
In 2013 we were still happy to bot 24/7 but having frequent bans, these botting several hours daily was hit very very rarely, usually via gold selling-caught or player reports only. Were we still on profit?

In 2014 it was technically impossible to gather 24/7 anymore, but the suicide 24/7 dungeon farming became popular, so we were still in profit, right?

In 2015 the dungeon farming is barely productive, but we still have plenty of other opportunities. Do we plan to still get on profit, or give up? What you think?

It doesnt matter how much someone throws at you, you always find a "good thing". Although its nice if you are like that and
i would love to be like that a bit more, it does get annoying. So it worked good for 8 years and this was expected?

Blizz is down to 7 mill subs and lost a courtcase. This hurts and its revenge. Nothing else. We botted safe cause they allowed us.
There will always be a bot as long as there will be games. They know this as well. Any idea how much they made last banwave by
people who started over? In 6 months, no one will use those accounts no more or is stupid enough to merge em, more profit for them.

You think the introduction of tokens ingame and this banwave was a coincedence? Tokens are prolly kept high by blizzard at the 45k+
range. Before the banwave lowest point i bought one was at 29k. it never dropped below 35 k no more after banwave, i think not even below
40k. Supply and demand, never. Its their way to sell gold legally and its used en masse.

I think this slap in the face banwave we got was not putting a foot down, its a warning about whats to come. That 6 months and not a
perma had a reason.

My idea, if you bot now, you should do it cause you dont have the time to do it manually. Made 200 k a week for 2 weeks straight now
with little to no effort without it. Dont do it just cause you can since you will get slapped in the face again whenever they like it.

Or ofcourse you have the cash t burn or dads creditcard

My only question is if hb was not detected and wow was just banning botters in general, why were there no major bans of other bots? Why only hb? Kinda hard to deny some sort of detection when hb was the only bot hit with the bans.
