Simple question about updating HB

Hey guys

I heard in different places that update could take more than one week this time, is this real ?

I mean, i really don't care, it could take a month, doesn't care but still, do you have any ideas ?

If its the case i have to replace right away half of my raid members :)

Thanks you ! Is there a sort of timer on the forum saying so ? That's quite long anyway but i play as well by my own so it's not a matter. I'm a real true player.
 
Yes you just press your "Windows key" + R, then you type "cmd" in the box. Then write command "shutdown /s" and a magical Honorbuddy timer appears as a animated .GIF on your forehead. Then go check yourself in the mirror to see the remaining time on upcoming HB updates.

Seriously, no. Rock just said that because its a stupid question to ask. Read some of the sticky information thread on these forums. You will know that updates will take anywhere between 1 minute to 9999 years. Noone will know until it is released by BuddyTeam. Just stay informed and check forums regularly, meanwhile you can continue "by hand". Have a good day.
 
I agree mate i agree, it's just that for exemple last week, i was told update will be fast and yes it was fast and today a few players told me that it's ganna bu real long. So i just wanted to know if anyone had eared something special.

usualy the normal update process takes a few hours to a day, but sometimes it can be longer, so just wait :)
 
The trick is finding a way to kill time during the update, I started watching the Sopranos, really good way to kill a few hours

If you ask "how long", and someone tells you *any* timeframe, they are lying.

Nobody knows except the Core Devs. If it was not one of them, they are lying.

If it's small and no big deal, typically in the past it's a day or 2. We do not know though.
