As a follow up on this, is there any risk of Bossland GMB beeing forced to turn over their user database to Blizzard?
In the big picture of things, being banned is the least of my worries right now. It's just a video game who cares.. But i do however feel like i know most of the staff here, and at this point just hope they can stay out of the pen..

i realy dont understand why blizz is doing this shit ... they can only profit from bot users. if we sell our items via RMAH they get there piece of the cake ...
they allow to spam the whole channel with fucking china farmers wich wanna sell gold. why they dont fuck these guys in there asses ?!
Actually the bot farming is very dangerous for blizzard. Whereas right now, (RHAM being new) they stand to profit a lot from botters who have lots of good things to sell- they are going to see a steep decline in profit if botters overwhelm the RMAH with options. Supply drives down price, lower prices makes 15% go a lot less far. So blizzard would rather have 5 items sell in RMAH for $5000 each than everything selling for $1-$2 each.
Also, it preserves the difficulty of the game.
This, they have announced before with honorbuddy they wont turn over peoples info, and a note too that dont make your bot account via same email registered on here. Blizzard is taking the actions they are cause they are bad coders and can't detect them.... I mean look at the game that took 10 years.... lolAgain, of course not. Data protection laws in Europe mean that Blizzard would not even ask.
This exactly if u can print mass of money inflation kicks in and everything is invaluable ... dont preach economics and blizzard only has to gain unless you understand how economics work ok?Actually the bot farming is very dangerous for blizzard. I would love to respond to what you said, but quite frankly I'm not sure what your point is.
Little bit of economy + comprehensive explaination ='s Win.
Lots of economy + inability to communicate ='s Fail.
my point is botting is the same to the Diablo economy as printing money.. 100$ has its value not cause gold backs it but because our economic states puts its value there, IF you can PRINT money the value drops.
botting enables a so called "print of money" due to not doing anything and items are being found, thus flooding the market especially since sarkoth wasnt nerfd = flood of items devalueing the sell of them. a item once worth 100$ is now worth 10$ giving a 15% cut down from 15$ to 1.5$ and it would continue to drop as time went on. understand ?
and of course the obvious, once every player has the items needed sales on the RMAH will plunder greatly. meaning if X sales are made now and at N value, the flood of X items will not only reduce the value but reduce the N value as well because of the fact of less purchases made.
This of course is a SIMPLE rough explanation and the truth to a economy cant be explained with just X*N= profit there is a far more sophisticated representation that would take alot of calc to determine a truthful value, including and not limited a diminishing returns on sales etc etc etc, anyone who studies economic states would clearly know bottings impact maybe significant gains in the beginning but the longevity of it only would prove to destroy the economy..
Once again I will refer to DIablo2 and the use of ladder seasons to mediate the economy and WoW in increasingly dropping prices of gold
With all of that I think u mistook my quote of you, it was saying this exactly as in what you said was right. was not arguing but highlighting the fact of your argument towards those who blindly thing botting is win for blizz
