i lost an account my only account a few days ago due to botting, had a bunch of 60s-85's on there and i don't wanna hear "oh its your choice" i wanna know some honest opinions, i recently bought a lvl 84 worgen druid got it to 85 and do heroics once in awhile. but i was wondering should i make this mage ive always wanted and try to bot it to 85? if so got any stories about horde mage 1-85? well thanks for reading this hope you have some answers and we'll talk to you later

well it depends on what you're going to be doing while botting

questing or using questing profiles is about as safe as you can get

if you're doing un monitored grinding, pvp, instances - then your ban chances go up a lot (unless it's you on 5x accounts)

I wanted to do questing and try to afk as much as possible, i got a warlock to 65 by mostly afking and i think im gonna do the same witha mage?

just do AB and you wil be fine

and if you are afraid to lose your account then dont bot

Seriously, if you question about continue botting you feel insecure, so just stop.

I guess if you really want to bot, just keep on going.
If you want to do some serious raiding/arena you may get another farming account to bot on.

IMOP if you asking if you should bot then you have doubt then NO is the only answer.

You say you dont want to hear 'If you cant afford to loose it then dont bot' but that is the only thing you should think about. If you have doubt DONT!

I bot 3 accounts, but would NEVER bot my main. I dont want to loose my main, as it has 3 85's any 5 over 70's on it, and all of them hand leveled, I put time and effort into them, botting is easy but you dont have any emotional attachment to them, they are come and go, not even a commodity.

If you really want to bot but are really, really concerned about getting caught on your main account and loosing it, then get a second account with the same last name, use that account as your "botting account" and then spring for the $25 to transfer your botted 85 toons over to your main account. IMO it is the only truly safe way to protect your main from a ban. As bans are placed on an account and not a single toon, once you transfer a toon it is no longer considered botted. Like many others, I have a few WOW accounts but will never ever bot my main. I have orked too hard at all the special acheives it has. However, my main is now all 85's with lots of gold and the best gear I can get because of the efforts of my botted accounts. If I had to play the game "legal" then I would never have more than 1 toon because of the time it takes to level.
