should i be adding each of my bots to my friends list?

i plan to funnel all my gold to one main account and sell all of it to his rmah (cause he has paypal hooked up). I need to add my bots so they can easily join my games to transfer fat stacks
 
No, don't do it. They will surely instaban your mainacc + your bots.
 
If you are talking about just adding your bots to your friends list then it should be fine. I have 3 bot accounts and all 3 have been on each other's friend's list since July and I've not got banned.
 
thanks guys. How does the "funnelling" idea sound though? i'm only farming gold so i don't need slots

people have reported to getting banned because of big amounts of gold constantly flowing to one account. has never happened to me so i cant confirm but i've read about this several times.
 
If you plan on doing it often as in trading gold to one char. like once every day to few days then I would not do it. I have done it very rarely, but the problem is Blizz can probably track trades as does other mmorpg's I've played in the past can so if you start trading gold between your accounts ALL the time then it's going to look obvious. I also have read of people getting banned for mass trading gold between characters constantly.

oh okay, sorry about my double post. So its best to set up pay pal with each account? How do people get around entering a phone number though? the rmah makes you enter a cell phone. I don't want to buy a second and keep it active for 20 a month

That's what I do.

I only have one paypal account
 
I connect my bots as friends one time to jump acts. They immediately drop friends (and just use recently played to connect to each other from then out.)

I have been funneling items and gold from bots to mains (paypal only on main, not bots) since D3 came out. Main still not banned. Bots have never used RMAH but use the GAH all day. Gold is traded to main. Items worth selling on RMAH are dropped on ground and picked up by main. Everything else the bots sell on their GAH.

It doesnt matter how you funnel the gold/items, its trackable. If they wanted to ban you, they would. They just dont have time to check thousands and thousands of bot accounts by hand to link them and honestly they dont have anything to gain from doing it. We make them a killing.
 
As far as gold trading, I would say its pretty safe. My main buyer for my gold trades around 5b a day with his lvl 1 char. Have done so for atleast 2-3 months now. Dunno about selling it on the rmah tho.
